BUSTER HANLON-HESS: 10 APRIL 2002—16 MAY 2019…

Taken on 6 December ’06, I titled this: Happy Buster; and have it on my writing desk.
This is the last picture I have of Buster—and his little buddy Gillighan—taken on 14 May 2019.
When I was home, Buster was rarely more than a few feet away from me.
Buster’s soft side: “Mom! Don’t take my picture now!” (Harbor Seal—left—was his favorite.)
A wee-cottage Hanlon-Hess family moment: Buster with my two best girls—Bailey and Mary Jo.
Buster was a real trooper when it came to political campaigning because the ladies loved him.
Buster would throw his forelegs straight up begging for an armpit rub so that he could bliss out.

Buster and Gillighan relaxing in front of the fire place while I’m writing in my home office.
Max, Buster and Gillighan taking a breather during a longish Brecksville Reservation walk.
Buster and Seal were often on guard, protecting the free world form nefarious characters.
Buster could be quite fierce as he was protecting his Northeast Ohio Rocks! painted stone.
Buster, Gillighan, Max (and Kitty!) relaxing after a long hard day of defending the homestead.
Buster frolicking in belly-high snow with his only lady love Bailey on Saint Valentine’s Day, 2007.
For the better part of a decade, this was my laptop wallpaper. Buster made me a better writer.
